Momma says: Today is a new day

I always start blogs with intentions of actually writing new posts and be awesome… but the truth is, I’m really not awesome and I have the attention span of a slug. That being said, I really feel like this is a great idea… I’m also really humble as you can clearly tell.

My name is Lissie and I’m a full time mom. I just recently became the CEO of the Morrison Household and it’s been a crazy adventure. We’ve tried me being a full time mom before and it really didn’t work out too well. I was a Training Director for a pretty popular franchise restaurant that serves sweet tea and waffle fries… yea. I became overwhelmed with anxiety and stress and it just wasn’t working out for me. So my amazing and caring husband decided to change his career and work 60 hours so that I can stay home with our daughter.

That’s the short story. I’m sure eventually I’ll get into the long story, but for now that’s all you get. I love to write, and I don’t have a lot of time to do that, but I feel by having a blog I can scratch my itch to write while doing other hobbies I enjoy… like cooking, reading, and watching movies. If you’ve read the “Momma Said ‘Start Here’” section you know what I plan on doing, if you haven’t, check that out now… I’ll wait.
